My Dream Date - Me!
The next time you fancy a date, before you get back on Hinge, let's get unhinged and date ourselves. In the wise words of Ru Paul: “If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love someone else?”

1. A trip to the cinema
The easiest solo activity for solo dating.
Sitting in a dark room where everyone is already focused on the big screen. You could quite literally fall up those cinema steps, and no one would know (well, know it was you).
Never again will you miss those movies you rate so highly from the trailer, only to never think about them again because you didn’t score your next date. Your Letterboxd has never looked so good.
2. A walk with wildlife
I obviously mean the pigeons and seagulls with this one.
Stacked with walkable nature parks, Ipswich isn’t shy of a scenic day out. With a range of top-notch nature walks, from Orwell Country Park, to Holywells, and Christchurch Park, consider yourself entertained with.
3. Solo dining/cafe date
Essential cafe spots. Go!

- Honey + Harvey - Yummiest veggie breakie in Ippy

4. M&S Picnic
Let me take you back to option number two, you're strolling around Holywells Park on a warm summer's day, birds are chirping, squirrels squirrelling. What would make this day even better, you ask, an M&S picnic, of course.
Crowned Queen of picky bits, an M&S picnic will have you feeling a little livin’ la vida loca.
5. Get Crafty
Whether that’s through your own arts and crafts or a creative workshop, set yourself on a mission to make something new. A personal favourite of mine is rock painting on the beach.
For the less paint-literate, I would highly recommend a lovely scenic paint-by-numbers, what a treat.
