Ipswich Town FC release their home and away kits for the 26/27 season
Ipswich Town have released their 26/27 home and away kit, taking inspiration from the stadium, shirts of the past and have made an effort to connect with grassroots football.
Ipswich Town have released their new kits for the 2026/27 Premier League season. The club have used stadium, structure and kits from the past to inspire their home and away kits for next season. The kit is manufactured by Umbro. For the manufacturer’s fifth generation of Ipswich Town kits, the kits attempt to represent the Ipswich community, attempting to embody the meaning of ‘Us And Our People’.
The home shirt
The new home shirt takes inspiration from Portman Road itself. The kit features an embossed graphic, representing the pattern created by the floodlights on the Sir Bobby Robson Stand and Sir Alf Ramsey Stand. The neckline and sleeves both have a navy trim, with white side panels on the body of the shirt, matching the colour of the shorts. The kit is completed with blue socks, with a white and blue turnover.

The away shirt: The shirt takes inspiration from the 1996-98 away kit, a callback to the club’s time under George Burley. The shirt is broken up by red and black horizontal lines, running throughout the entire front. The neckline and sleeves are black with a red trim. The colours of the crest have been recreated to match the colour of the shirt.
Both shirts feature Principal Partner HALO, with Ed Sheeran’s ‘Play’ tour logo featuring on the sleeve.
Grassroots donation: The club has used the kit launch to make a sizeable donation to grassroots football clubs by offering teams in Suffolk a grant towards their youth kits for next season. More than 70 clubs have accepted the offer, with more expected to follow.
The club sees this as an opportunity to show their support for the large grassroots scene in the county of Suffolk, giving meaning to the ‘Us And The People’ mantra. Chairman Mark Ashton said ‘‘We are incredibly proud to be supporting grassroots football in Suffolk as part of our kit launch this season.’’
The bottom line: Planet Blue will be open from 3:15 PM to 8:00 PM today, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, 4 July, and from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, 5 July.
The shirts will also be on sale tomorrow at Halo festival. The new kits can be purchased online. Shirt printing from the men’s and women’s teams will not be available until squad numbers are released.
